Community Children Foundation

Selecting the recipient for the funds raised from the “A Night to Remember” Charity concert was no easy task. There are so many worthy and deserving organizations in Thailand, all with such dedicated staff. However, for the purposes of this concert, it was important to us that the designated recipient focused on education and youth, was transparent, had a strong record, and was nationwide.

With the above parameters in mind, we are incredibly excited and honored to share that the recipient for Kula’s first “A Night to Remember” Charity Concert will be the Community Children Foundation (CCF) Under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Please learn more about CCF below.

About Community Children Foundation

In 1957, US based Christian Children’s Fund incorporated, started its operation in Thailand through its Hong Kong office, beginning over 60 years of their commitment to children and youths across Thailand. In 1975, the Thailand office was registered as a legal Thai Foundation under the name CCF Thailand Foundation. Their pioneering work, transparency and dedication were apparent to all, and in 1994, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously accepted CCF Foundation to be under Her Royal Patronage.

Since its inception, CCF has received numerous awards including winner of the Thai NGO Award in 2015, a 5-Star Charity Ratings by Giving Back Association on Financial Efficiency and Good Governance, and most recently in January 2022, an award from the Ministry of Education for their innovative program CCF Learn Smart Project, launched during the pandemic to support disadvantaged children who were unable attend school in person due to Covid-19 restrictions.

CCF mobilizes social engagement and collaboration to promote children and youth development, enabling them to grow up to be contributing members of society.

Today, CCF has nationwide coverage in 35 provinces, with over 42,000 children under their education sponsorship program. For 600 baht a month, or 7,200 baht a year, a child will receive funding for his/her education, school supplies, and age appropriate enhancement programs, aimed at providing the child/youth with a strong foundation for a better life.

Please join us for “A Night to Remember”, to support this worthy cause.
