Yuree creates an Eden garden and the story of Adam and Eve. Eve suggested Adam to eat apple, and then they were exiled.

When we love somebody so much, there might still be a chance that we may do something wrong or unexpected hurt that person. However, we still love each other, like Adam and Eve.

“Across the Universe” means we can love each other even if we are different or come from different species. Beaver and Mole in this picture come from different species and they still love each other.

About the Artist

YUREE KENSAKU (b.1979) is a Bangkok-based multidisciplinary artist whose works are known for their electrifying colours, rich sense of humour, and candy coated cartoon characters with a dark twist. Wildly entertaining at first glance, Yuree’s works persistently present bold, critical commentary on society, as well as intimate introspection on her personal life as a female artist.

Yuree’s works has featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions both regionally and internationally including
