A2 Head, Hand & Heart Make a Better Community

The title of our artwork is “Head, Hand & Heart Make a Better Community” The principles we use were patterned by making the scarf the same size. The elements we used were texture, line, value, and color. Texture by making the pattern on the fabric. Line by outline the work. Value by darkness to lightness. Color by indigo-dying color.

What inspired us to make this artwork was how every different indigo-dyed piece of fabric was different, no matter if we dyed it all some way it would always be special and it has its own qualities. Just like everyone. We are all different but we can make good things happen when we work together in harmony.
