#1 Collab Kabob

This collaborative piece, created by 7th and 8th grade visual art students, was inspired by the works of Ugo Rondinone and the artist duo, Chiaozza. Students randomly selected cards that depicted a shape, color, and marine life. Then they played with various arrangements and combinations of some of their attributes to develop a design for their mini-sculpture. Once the sculptures were created, students worked in groups to curate different combinations of them, focusing on their relationship with each other and creating a unified piece.
