#26 Rhythm is a Dancer
Grade One artists enjoyed painting and dancing to music. Different music inspired them to create different moves and marks. Connecting to the patterns found in math, they made rhythms with shapes and collaged them onto the mural. Students explored how the body moves when they dance and used that research to draw dancing self-portraits. What a joyous celebration of music, dance, and the fine arts!
