Mercy Center Student Performers

The Mercy Centre is the Hope Development Foundation’s home and family. It currently houses around 70 abandoned, orphaned or trafficked children from the Klongtoey slum community.

Every Sunday, children housed at the Mercy Centre home have an opportunity to study Thai classical dance and Thai instruments from dedicated and talented teachers who volunteer their time, including Thai National Artists. Kula has invited these students to participate in our “A Night to Remember” Charity Concert as well.

The purpose of inviting them to join in the performance is to give them a platform to showcase their talent, build their confidence, and help them realize that they, too, can make a difference, and help the well-being of their home.

This will mark the first time that the children of the Mercy Centre perform in a professional theatre. Let us all do our very best to support them and cheer them on!
